After the main course of low Neven was through, the atmosphere remained unstable with frequent snow showers coming in from the north. One of these caught A. and me as we were making our way to Lake Šoderica: a sudden burst of wind and snow. Like this.
It was brief, however. Minutes later, blue sky already started to appear behind the snow curtains.
This white thing under the car is actually a road. Just sayin’.
As the snow curtains withdrew and the culprit cloud moved away…
… the scene before us was beautiful.
It was over in a blink. When we arrived to the lake, it was already sunny with a nice view of the departing cell.
Lots of swans and other birds spend the winter here.
Parts of the lake are covered with ice. It takes longer periods of cold for the whole surface to freeze.
I leave you with this.
