A strong low pressure system, dubbed Neven by Crometeo, spun up in the West Mediterranean a couple of days ago. From there it rolled over Italy and into the Adriatic, bringing a lovely snowfall to the whole inland and mountainous Croatia. At first is was unclear just how much snow would there be in Koprivnica, because of the troubling temperatures in the 850 hPa layer, but models suggested at least over 25 centimeters. That turned out to be true and this morning we measured 31 cm.
What follows are a couple of photos I took last night during a brief walk around. Once again, here’s snow covered Koprivnica.
