The Morning Crescent

Thin crescent of an old Moon decorates the dawning skies. There were lots of thin cirrus sheets floating overhead, so when the low Sun lit them up (while the star itself was still invisible, below the horizon) these clouds took on a beautiful orange – pinkish hue. The Moon was immersed in the sea of color for a few minutes, just enough to allow me to quickly set up the camera and record the beautiful scene. Check it out on 500px.
